Botanic project shows early shoots

Edward Cullinan Architects’ gateway building in Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden has gone on site. The timber, glass and stone structure (pictured) has a number of sustainable features including a biomass boiler, thermally efficient ETFE roof lights, a rainwater harvesting system, photovoltaics and a wind turbine.
