Massie Architects wins royal medal

Graeme Massie Architects has won this year's Royal Scottish Academy medal for architecture. The Edinburgh practice was commended for “outstanding work” on its proposals for a new community centre at Collieston, north-east Scotland. The centre consists of a series of independent rooms connected by a central double-height entrance hall and linked to the landscape by gardens and terraces which act as a transition space.
