Murray and Pert join Strathclyde

Former RIAS president Gordon Murray and Nord's Alan Pert have been appointed professors of architecture and urban design at the University of Strathclyde's school of architecture in Glasgow. Murray, of Gordon Murray & Alan Dunlop Architects, will be head of school, with Pert head of the undergraduate programme. In a joint statement, the two architects said they wanted to foster “an entrepreneurial attitude”.
