RMJM working double time on Scottish college project

Jewel & Esk Valley College

This £50 million development designed by RMJM on two separate sites is Scotland's largest further education project. The scheme, for Jewel & Esk Valley College, comprises an Edinburgh campus on the existing Milton Road site and the new Midlothian campus replacing the existing Esbank Campus. Metallic bronze cladding and an off-white render will be used for the exterior of both campuses to create consistency. The entire development will create 27,000sq m of space accommodating 10,000 students when it opens in October next year. RMJM director Adrian Boot said: “Core to the development is the idea of one college; two campuses.
