Village landmark restored

A landmark church tower in an East Dunbartonshire village has been brought back to life. Residents in Lennoxtown, Campsie Community Council, Councillor John Dempsey and the Lennoxtown Initiative project have all worked together to get the tower at Campsie High Church restored. At a ceremony last Friday, the tower clock chimed for the first time in many years and special floodlighting was switched on to light up the historic building.
