Real resources required if Scottish architecture is to flourish

Architecture policies are well established in many parts of Europe, and one of the earliest actions of the Scottish Executive in the heady days following devolution was the creation of a policy on architecture for Scotland. Five years on it is still the only one in the UK, with a second version due to be launched next month.
