Talented team has designs on shaping face of the city

They are the future of the design world, the people whose work will shape the development of towns and cities around the world. And now post-graduate students at the Edinburgh College of Art have turned their talents to creating ideas for the Capital. Included among the plans are a unique shelter from the Scottish weather, a new visitor centre, a unique five-star hotel and an innovative children's centre. And some of the designs, which go on show at the Edinburgh College of Art Masters of Design exhibition next week, are already set to become permanent fixtures in the city's landscape.
