Canopy design call for Clydebank

BBC

A call has gone out to Scotland's architects to design a new £200,000 canopy for a pedestrian way across the Forth and Clyde Canal. The Clydebank canopy competition aims to find an "outstanding" design. It will replace the existing 25-year-old structure which locals have criticised as "unsightly". Eleanor McAllister, chief executive of Clydebank Re-built, said: "There is now a unique opportunity to create a landmark canopy structure."
