Morrison to head RMJM parent as it aims for worldwide expansion

The Scotsman

Peter Morrison, son of former construction tycoon Sir Fraser Morrison, has been appointed chief executive of MJM, parent company of Edinburgh-based international architecture firm, RMJM. Morrison's appointment to the new position is a bid to develop the company into a full service design operation, increasing non-architecture activities such as civil engineering, landscape architecture and environmental services. Around 95 per cent of MJM's activities come from RMJM. The 32-year-old University of Dundee law graduate and Imperial College London MBA - he also served for four years in the Army - has held several company directorships, and was last year part of the team which led the £15 million management buyout of Aberdeen-based Ramco Oil Services.
