Quartermile architect lined up for builders conference

Grant Brooker, a senior partner at Foster & Partners - the group behind many high-profile projects, such as Edinburgh's Quartermile and the Moscow City Tower, which is Europe's highest building - is scheduled to be among the speakers at Bell & Scott's seventh annual Scottish housebuilding conference, taking place next month. Other speakers at the event include John Callcutt, of English Partnerships (formerly Crest Nicholson), Alan Prole of Paramount Homes - who will discuss the BoKlok "flat-pack" homes project, involving Ikea - and Howard Liddell of Gaia Architects, who is also an adviser to the Scottish Executive on sustainability.
