City leader Donald Anderson today insisted the Scottish Executive had a "moral obligation" to help save the old Royal High School as a showpiece public building. And he said he believed troubled plans to create a £21 million national photographic centre offered the only "credible future" for the iconic landmark. His remarks will pile the pressure on First Minister Jack McConnell, who has not given his support to the project amid fears over the cost. But Prince Charles' favourite architect Benjamin Tindall today led a fresh outcry at the prospect of the much-loved building being left to fall into disrepair. The building faces an uncertain future should the photography centre plan fail.
