'Super-school' designs go on show

The Scotsman

The final plans for a £6 million "super-school", the first of its kind in Europe for blind and sensory-deprived children, will be unveiled to the world's leading architects tomorrow. Models of the groundbreaking design, which will replace Glasgow's Kelvin and Carnbooth schools, will be presented to international delegates at a conference of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland in the Pierce Institute, Govan. Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop, the acclaimed Glasgow architects who created the city's award-winning Radisson hotel, are behind the project.
