Parliament reigns in Spain design awards

The Scottish Parliament has won a prestigious Spanish design award. The VIII Biennial of Spanish Architecture 2005 named the Holyrood project the winner of the Manuel de la Dehesa prize. The award of "Premio De Arquitectura" was made in recognition of Barcelona-based Enric Miralles' design for the building. The architects were chosen from 34 nominated candidates for projects constructed in 2003-04.
