Heritage leaders back bid to transform bus depot
A heritage watchdog today backed a developer's efforts to transform the site of a former bus depot. The Cockburn Association was due to meet the Edinburgh-based BL Developments, which snapped up the former LRT depot from Lothian Buses last month. The land at Shrub Place was put back on the market after a proposed £30 million project by housebuilder George Wimpey failed to win planning permission following a campaign by local residents.
