Green building scheme is launched

The world's first green building scheme is being launched in the Scottish Parliament. The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland is putting its Sustainable Building Accreditation Scheme forward in a bid to improve energy efficiency. Green Party MSP Robin Harper said: "This is believed to be the first such scheme in the world. "It offers the opportunity for Scotland to take a global lead in sustainable building design."
