An Edinburgh architects firm is set to take the lead in transforming a derelict bus depot in the Capital. Broadway Malyan has been enlisted to draft a masterplan for the old Lothian Buses depot at Shrub Place, just off Leith Walk. The site was bought this month for an undisclosed sum by city-based BL Developments, which specialises in building quality flats and houses. Broadway Malyan, which designed the bridge linking the St James Centre with Calton Hill across Leith Street, has nine offices in five countries across the globe.
