Appeal to help give town new look
People in a north-east town are being urged to help shape a new look for some of its most prominent landmarks. The Peterhead Creative Communities project is one of only 10 in Britain and the only one in Scotland to land a grant from the Commission for Architecture in the Built Environment and Arts and Business. The £12,000 award has been used to hire Tarland artist Janet McEwan. She will be in Peterhead over the next week to start the process of finding out how locals want to see key areas of the town transformed.
