A studio complex used by dozens of city artists is set to be revamped in a £400,000 makeover project. The building in Stockbridge, which is currently home to 52 artists, will undergo a massive refurbishment programme. A garret will be converted into an extra 15 studios to boost its capacity while heating and lighting are to be improved. Repairs will also be carried out on the leaking roof. Patriothall Studios and Gallery, off Hamilton Place, was acquired earlier this year by the Workshop and Artists' Studio Provision Scotland (Wasps).
