Plans for 8M hospital upgrade advance

Plans for an £8million upgrade at a north-east community hospital are poised to move into a new phase. Architects have now been appointed by health chiefs for the project at Chalmers Hospital, Banff. The firm Mackie, Ramsay, Taylor has already carried out work on a number of high-profile health service developments including Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin and the new Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.
