Proposals for turbine to power house

The Press and Journal

A house in rural Angus could be one of the first in the county to have its own wind turbine. The one-metre diameter turbine will be connected to the domestic side of the electricity meter and feed power directly into the house at Kirkbuddo. An application for the turbine, and other alteration work at the house, has been lodged with Angus council planners. Paul Fretwell, of Arbroath architects the Voigt Partnership, is representing the applicants.
