Montrose Health Centre picks up Public Building Award

The Press and Journal

A Montrose health centre, built using private money, has scooped the title of public building of the year. Links Health Centre picked up the accolade at the recent Builder and Engineer magazine awards. Readers of the magazine nominated the health centre, which was then singled out by judges for the award. A plaque was presented to staff and project representatives to mark the triumph. The centre is the product of a public-private partnership between NHS Tayside, specialist health and social care investor Prime, Reid architectural practice and the three GP practices in the town. It was hailed by judges as a beacon for the local community.
