'Now it's time for me to move on'

The Herald

The death of Enric Miralles forced his widow to put her grief on hold while she helped make his vision a reality. As the parliament nears completion, Benedetta Tagliabue tells how she is finally laying his ghost to rest. I miss Enric very much, but I feel he has been with me throughout this complicated journey. When he died, it was such a shock that I couldn't grieve properly at that time. We still had this important project to finish and I felt we were still working on it together. The only thing different after Enric's death was that I was the one who was physically there. I had a real feeling that he was still next to me all the time.
