The Scotsman

This is Architecture Week, which aims to raise awareness of British buildings. From semi-detached houses to huge office blocks, architecture is all around us. The Royal Institute of British Architects wants us to start paying more attention to our environment and see the possibilities it has to offer. There will be more than 350 events highlighting different aspects of architecture, including degree shows from both the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, and the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, as well as the child-friendly Tile Design exhibition at the McLellan Gallery.
