The beleaguered Holyrood project was at the centre of a new row last night, after a leading architectural writer claimed he had been banned from attending a press preview because he had been critical of the building in the past. Peter Wilson, a freelance architectural writer, was supposed to be one of a group of trade journalists shown round the building today. The event is being hosted by the architects RMJM and the builders Bovis, but when RMJM managers found out that Building Design magazine was sending Mr Wilson to cover the event, it was told to find someone else. The editor of Building Design was told last week Mr Wilson would not be accredited for the event, but that the magazine could send another journalist in his place. Mr Wilson branded the move "censorship".
