Lighthouse education programme shortlisted for top award

The Lighthouse has been short-listed for a prestigious heritage and education award for its work with children. The Glasgow-based National Centre for Architecture and the City is the only Scottish organisation nominated in the final six UK projects chosen for the Roots and Wings Award. The centre will learn next week if its touring Mackintosh Tea Room project, created for primary-school children, has won the prestigious prize.
