Murray and Dunlop to design Glasgow Harbour

Following the success of Dandara Limited in securing phase two of Glasgow Harbour, Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop are pleased to announce that they have been appointed as architects for the multi million pound project by the Manchester based housing developer.

"This will be a very high quality residential development of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with underground parking, new landscaping and retail facilities" says Gordon Murray "our detailed designs will be developed along the principles established by the KPF Masterplan for Glasgow Harbour and an application for Planning Consent will be made to the City Council in autumn 2004, with construction programmed to start in Spring 2005".

He adds "this will be another wonderful opportunity for the practice to contribute to the regeneration on Glasgow's waterfront with quality architecture and expand the Glasgow Harbour Community"

All involved in securing this significant commission are very much looking forward to doing their bit to confirm Glasgow Harbour as an excellent regeneration initiative. "Dandara Limited have an impressive track record as a high quality housing developer and their unique brand will compliment current developments" comments Alan Dunlop "accordingly, the quality of our proposals will be first rate and the architecture will be innovative and exciting".
