Awards to honour architect five days after death
One of Scotland's acclaimed architects will be honoured at a key awards ceremony tonight - days after his unexpected death. Andrew Doolan, 52, who was also a hotelier and a self-made millionaire, had been nominated for a top prize at the Edinburgh Architectural Association's annual ball. The evening will now begin with a toast to Mr Doolan, who gained renown at home and overseas for his regeneration of many areas of the capital
