Kingston Bridge joins 'gems' on the tourist map

It may have been the focus of years of misery for commuters, but the Kingston Bridge has been hailed as an architectural gem on a new tourist map of Glasgow. The road bridge, Europe's busiest, is ranked alongside architectural heavyweights including the Glasgow School of Art and modern buildings such as the Glasgow Science Centre and Armadillo. A 1960s tower block in Townhead also makes the 210-strong roll of honour alongside Glasgow Cathedral, the Willow Tea Rooms, the city chambers and the Templeton's Carpet Factory.
