Three Capital building projects have been praised in a prestigious national design contest. Mansfield Traquair Centre, new multi-purpose facilities at Greenbank Parish Church and the Tun building in Holyrood Road, designed by award-winning city architect Allan Murray, were all mentioned in the Civic Trust Awards. he three projects were praised for "bringing a notable social, cultural or economic benefit to their communities". Holyrood Park Education Centre, designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects, and Evolution House by Reiach & Hall both received commendations in the awards, which began in 1959. They celebrate top architecture, planning, environmental design, landscape, public art and urban design.
