Benedetta Tagliabue, the Catalan architect, yesterday robustly defended her late husband and their "fantastic" plans for the parliament, insisting Scots would grow to love the building despite its price tag. Giving evidence to the Fraser inquiry, Ms Tagliabue also made a confident, spirited defence of her own professional integrity as an architect in her own right and of the reputation of her late husband, Enric Miralles.
