The Capital's first design tsar, Sir Terry Farrell, today declared war on behalf of the city's pedestrians. The acclaimed architect - who designed the famous MI6 headquarters in London, as well as the Edinburgh International Conference Centre - has been charged with raising the standard of public spaces and future development in the Capital. But the 65-year-old today spelled out his aim to reclaim the city centre for pedestrians who he believes face "dangerous" and "disorientating" junctions and crossings in Edinburgh.
