Venice invite is just the Italian job for architect
An award-winning Edinburgh architect has been invited to represent Britain at the famous Venice Biennale later this year. Richard Murphy is one of nine architects chosen to appear at the British Pavilion at the Biennale, which is billed as the world's greatest architectural occasion. Although not as famous as the art biennale established in 1895, the two-month-long event, starting in September, is expected to attract more than 100,000 people.
