Holyrood building costs to rise again

The Scotsman

The cost of the Holyrood parliament has remained the same for the fifth month in succession - but parliamentary managers warned yesterday that it was almost certain to rise again next month. The latest monthly report into the state of the parliament project revealed that the price remains at £401.1 million, the same figure since September last year. But George Reid, the Presiding Officer, said more money could be needed next month to make sure the building is completed by late summer.
