Vandal threat to the tomb of Scots princess

The Herald

One of the country's finest examples of medieval architecture, containing the exquisite monumental tomb of a Scots princess, is under threat from vandals. Historic Scotland has put security guards at the site, which is considered to be one of the most important monuments dating from the Middle Ages, in an attempt to save Lincluden Collegiate Church in Dumfries and Galloway.
