Almost 80 years ago it was reduced to a pile of rubble in an act that should have been the final chapter for one of Scotland's greatest buildings. But now the doors of Hamilton Palace are to open again, as modern technology triumphs over the deeds of the past. In what its creators have hailed as one of the most innovative art research projects ever undertaken in Scotland, the former home of the Dukes of Hamilton is to be the subject of a virtual reconstruction available to all on the world wide web.
