Miralles was 'risky choice'
The Spanish architect chosen to design the Holyrood parliament building was a "brilliant" but "risky" choice, the Fraser Inquiry has been told. The comments about Enric Miralles, who was picked by a panel of experts from a short-list of five, were made by Dublin-based architect Joan O'Connor. The design panel member said Mr Miralles was a brilliant architect, but given the way he worked he was a risk.
