TV Presenter Wark to Appear Before Holyrood Probe

Broadcaster Kirsty Wark is to give evidence to the Holyrood inquiry next week, it was announced tonight. Ms Wark, a member of the panel that chose Enric Miralles to design the Holyrood building, will give evidence on Wednesday. Other members of the selection panel will also give evidence, according to a schedule of witnesses posted on the inquiry website. Apart from her role in selecting the architect, Ms Wark has been involved in a long-running controversy though her production company, Wark Clements, over the cost of a yet-to-be-screened documentary, The Gathering Place, on the birth of the new parliament.
