Community to get a say over town's revamp

Local people are to get their say before council bosses embark on town centre improvements - just weeks after the same council was criticised for "stealing" a public park to build a new school. From today residents of Lanark will be consulted by South Lanark-shire planners ahead of the proposals. Before the streetscape project gets the green light, they will be invited to fill in questionnaires and join a survey.
