In every game of poker, there is a combination of cards that forms the best possible hand available, the hand that cannot be beaten. Usually - although not always - it is this hand that will win the pot. In poker patois, this hand is called 'the nuts'. Charlie Sutherland and Charlie Hussey, both 41, are occasional poker players. More importantly and more effectively, they form the small, Edinburgh firm of Sutherland Hussey Architects. They recently built a shelter on the west coast island of Tiree. The shelter is called An Turas, which means 'journey' in Gaelic. Sutherland and Hussey call it Hector's House, after a local tramp who is said to use it.
