Award plan for quality architecture

A new award scheme aims to reward the best in building design in Midlothian. The Awards for Good Design has been launched by Midlothian Council and will be open to architects, designers and owners of high-quality buildings in the area. Divided into three categories, it will see awards presented for outstanding examples of new buildings, restoration or alteration of an existing building and landscaping associated with a development.
