World-renowned architect Frank Gehry officially opened his first UK building in Dundee yesterday. Accompanied by his rock-star friend Sir Bob Geldof, the architect celebrated the opening of Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre in the grounds of Ninewells Hospital. Mr Gehry, the creator of the famous Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, designed the building free of charge in memory of the founder of the charity.
