Award-winners to design university complex
An award-winning architecture practice is set to design a £50 million research centre at Edinburgh University. Bennetts Associates, which has offices in both London and Edinburgh, will work with city-based Reiach and Hall Architects and structural engineers Buro Happold on the new complex planned for a Crichton Street car park site. The 30,000 square metre building will accommodate the university's School of Informatics - replacing facilities destroyed in last December's Cowgate blaze.
